We started our herd a few years ago, with two unregistered Nigerian Dwarf does. It quickly grew by two. Then we added 4 registered Nigerian Dwarf goats from the Desertnanny bloodline. Luthien was one of Kara’ quads. She was SO tiny, we really didn’t think she would make it. We milked out some colostrum and warmed her up in the sink. When her temp got up to 101.5, we fed her the colostrum, brought her in and put her in a little box between Wes and I on a heating pad. We kept a close eye on her temperature, took turns bottle feeding her, and decided that if she made it, we were keeping her! Well, she made it and is now a super spoiled-sweet girl with attitude!

Triton was one of three gorgeous little bucklings that Sansa presented us with around 8pm on April 6. She had no trouble popping those boys out, and they were healthy and bouncy right away. Triton was super friendly and very curious. He was our first boy to be sold, he went to a wonderful home in Concho, Arizona on July 2, 2024.
